Kids Karate
Kid's Karate is a course uniquely designed to promote strength, flexibility, coordination, concentration, and courtesy. This program is taught in a safe, supportive environment that focuses on traditional aspects while blending modern training principles and techniques. The ages start at 7 and up.
Karate
Our curriculum covers sound principles taught through techniques and forms that will give a complete understanding allowing you to experience and explore the evolution of movement, rather then just being a copycat of movements.
Women's Fitness and Self-Defense
This program is for Women Only!! Learn a combination of Thai Boxing, Western Boxing, Kick Boxing, and Jiu-Jitsu (realistic self-defense).
Kobudo
The ancient art of weaponry is taught as part of the karate program, as you become more experienced with timing, distance, & coordination you will then advance with weapon training such as the Bo, Nunchaku, Tonfa, Sai, Kama, and Sword. These weapons become extensions of ones hands and follow the same guidelines and principles as Karate.
Jiu-jitsu
Our curriculum covers all ranges which includes striking, locking, throwing, and ground fighting. Offering a perfect blend of traditional and modern training that provides a tremendous workout. This program is taught in a safe progression, teaching sound principles and techniques that are constantly tested and honed.
Aikido
Jiyushin-ryu Aikido focuses on the use of good posture, coupled with correct timing and distance, to break an opponent's balance and make techniques. Strength and speed are not essential factors in making techniques work.
Muay Thai, Boxing, Kick Boxing
This program teaches sound footwork, forms, drills and principles while providing a non stop work out. Each art is taught style specific in a 10 week program allowing the complete understanding of each art.
Mixed Martial Arts
Mixed Martial Arts is a hybrid art that is constantly changing and evolving. The premise of mixed martial arts is to utilize what works and gets rid of what doesn't. This program is an intensive workout that works on stand up fighting, ground fighting and everything in between.
Kuntao / Arnis / Jiu-Jitsu
This program is extremely challenging and rewarding. This art has been described as Horrifically Beautiful. Its realistic approach and overkill makes it as real as it gets. This Art consists of stick and knife fighting as well as hand to hand combat. This program has a no frills, in your face approach, with immediate results. High standards and a commitment to excellence are the trademarks of the Academy.
