This program encompasses 3 different Pugilistic arts. The 3 Arts are separated into 10 week sessions, each session will focus on the specific style and will teach sound fundamentals such as footwork, forms, drills and principles while providing a non stop work out. This program is an awesome high level physical workout and will get you into shape fast.
If you always wanted to get involved in the martial arts, but was worried about the long term commitments or sacrificing your evenings, this is the program for you. We meet for one hour every Saturday from 11:00am-12:00pm. GI pants and a tee shirt all that you need to get started.
Muay Thai also known as Thai Boxing is a warrior art from Thailand and is over 1,000 years old. It consists of the 8 basic tools; Fists, elbows, knees and legs and are all delivered with full power without holding back.
Boxing's history is an extensive one and it could be said it started whenever one person lifted their hand towards another. Its early history can be traced back to the ancient Greeks and the Olympic Games in about 688BC. Our program teaches the fundamentals such as the 4 basic punches (the Jab, Cross, Hook, and the Uppercut) as well as the 5 basic defenses (The Slip, Bob and Weave, Parry, The Cover Up and the Clinch).
Kickboxing is considered a sporting martial art very similar to boxing, except for the fact that it uses both arms and legs for striking. Kickboxing was inspired from Muay Thai and utilizes the sound principles and techniques of karate, boxing, as well as taekwondo.

Learn a combination of Thai Boxing, Western Boxing, Kick Boxing, and Jiu-Jitsu (realistic self-defense).
This program is broken down into 4 sections;
- The first section is body development to strengthen the core, to increase flexibility, stamina, and coordination.
- The second section is designed to teach the fundamentals of foot work, body alignment, timing, angles, as well as acceleration in order to deliver explosive power.
- The third section works on the skills of Kick Boxing, Thai Boxing and Western Boxing. You will develop striking with the Hands, Feet, Knees and elbows as well as evasive maneuvers such as "bob and weave", slide, ride, and drop to avoid the oncoming strikes.
- The fourth section involves our Jiu-Jitsu Program; where you will learn to fall properly, to throw people easily, and learn to truly defend yourself when standing, kneeling, sitting, and on your back.
This program is taught in a safe, progressive manner and you will learn at your own pace. This is the perfect program for on-the-go women who want a great workout and realistic self-defense techniques. Classes meet every Friday from 6:00pm-7:15pm.
