My training in the Martial Arts began as a child with Judo, then continued as a teenager in Karate and Boxing. My introduction to Jiu Jitsu started in Essex between 2000-2002 under Sensei Earl Walker, this period of training instilled a passion for the Art which has continued to be an integral part of my life.

In 2002, our family relocated to the USA where I enrolled with West Coast Martial Arts Academy in Sarasota, Florida. Training under Shihan Steve Schwartz, I achieved 3rd Dan in both Go Dai Henka Jiu Jitsu and Shintoyoshin Jiu Jitsu, and have also trained in Boxing, Muay Thai, Savate, and American Kickboxing.

On returning to England in 2010, I opened WCMAA UK in the Taunton, Somerset area, offering a range of classes in Jiu Jitsu and Self-Defense to adults and juniors. I am accredited to train employees in the security, local authority, and healthcare sectors; and in areas which include conflict management, physical intervention, and personal safety. I also provide training courses for corporate and private individuals.

I continue participation in training through various opportunities, including traveling to Florida and a recent seminar in London held by Shihan Schwartz and Professor Hernandez which was attended by senior dojo members from the USA and Germany. I am proud to maintain close ties with our West Coast family through my international affiliation and firmly established friendships.
